It is a special year for us, one in which we have focused on the SOFA Chicago mission not only to bring nationally and internationally renowned artists into our midst, but to give back to the community through free events and community partnerships designed to showcase local artists.

SOFA Chicago SOFA, (Sculpture, Objects and Functional Art) is America's leading art fair for the gallery market, firmly established as a driving force in the contemporary fine and decorative art market in America. It takes place each year at the Navy Pier Festival Hall in Chicago.
In the 1970s and 1980s Mark Lyman, founder of SOFA, became increasingly preoccupied by the fact that the boundaries of art are ever more blurred, the differences between art, object and image the subject of increasing debate.
